Weavings Room
One of the characteristics of Linosa are the rows of prickly pears, windbreaks for the land and witnesses of a lost farming past. The shovels were used to feed the animals and transported in large woven baskets. The art of these weaves that inspires this room was on the island learned by necessity and practiced under the shade of the black mulberry trees, witnessed by the baskets, panàri and carteddre that are transmitted from house to house and still used to collect figs, limpets, sea fruits and the salt from the pools on the rocks.
